Each of the dozen guests at Cielo del Mar’s most exclusive restaurant is there for a reason.

Five think they’re joining their prep school’s alumni board. Three are chasing the opportunity of a lifetime. Two have come to accept jobs — one of whom is on his last chance. One has come to find the truth about her cheating husband. And the last is a reluctant plus-one, increasingly sure something’s amiss.

Each guest is after something: pride, wealth, redemption, fame. But as their courses arrive, it becomes clear the dozen men and women around Crave’s long table are not the strangers they seemed to be. Each hides has a secret that’s shaped them, that’s defined who they’ve become since one fateful night now eleven years buried. And as their unknown host is revealed, it’s clear that what binds them is not nostalgia, but guilt, loss, shame, and fear.
