After attending the London Book Fair on behalf of he and his co-author wife, John Treadwell is at the hotel bar having a drink when he meets his biggest fan.

He enjoys the attention, but when he wakes up next to her in bed with no recollection of how he got there, or what happened, he makes a hasty retreat.

He returns home hoping to put the incident behind him, but finds he’s been lured into a trap and his biggest fan has seeped into every crevice of his quickly deteriorating life.
