One more day in a body that doesn’t belong to me. Another day further from a life I can’t remember.

I am a Jumper. Almost every day I wake up in a different body. I don’t know why this is happening, and I have no memory of my life before.

I try not to make waves, to leave my host’s body and life the way I found it. I know they’ll be back for it, and I’ll be off to another body, another life.

But on this Jump I encounter another Jumper who knows not only who I am, but what I am. Now I’m caught between a past I can’t remember and a future I’m not sure I’ll see. And I find myself waking up each day in a different body on the same street—where I know a woman and child are in danger from an abusive man.

What if the only way to save them is to kill a man in cold blood, before he’s even committed a crime?
